On Sunday, March 29, we are starting a new series that focuses on what it looks like when God intervenes, when He steps into our mess. We’ll see that the hero of every story and the hero of our lives is Jesus. He was not some last-minute back up plan after mankind blew it. The heart of God is to cover His children and that is really good news for all of us! The love of Jesus is enough!

Come join our Easter celebration at The CrossWalk on Sunday, April 5! Our Easter experiences will be at 9 and 10:30am and we encourage you to invite and bring someone with you that day. This will be a great time to introduce someone you care about to Jesus and to The CrossWalk. There are lots of people you know who would come if you invite them!

CrossWalk family, we will also be receiving our special offering for Sleep In Heavenly Peace (SHP). 

The next segment in our Bible Study is from the book of Philippians. We will start on Wednesday, April 15 (10:30 am) with the same class being repeated on Thursday, April 16 (7 pm). This study will run for 4 weeks as we dive into the apostle Paul’s most joy-filled letter. Don’t forget he wrote this while in jail!

This Easter we are once again teaming up with Sleep In Heavenly Peace (SHP) to provide beds for children in our community that do not have beds. Every Sunday we are explaining a little more about the need and why we are getting involved. We will be receiving a special offering on Easter Sunday to be donated to this organization. They in turn will use the funds to build more beds, purchase mattresses and bedding, pay for storage rental and replace broken tools. We are asking you to pray about what God wants you to give towards this offering and then bring it with you on Easter Sunday. Thank you, ahead of time, for your generosity.

Calling all kids in 6th-12th grade. You are invited to the annual lock-in held at Friendship Baptist Church, 630 N Commercial, St. Clair on 3/20.  The cost is $15 which covers: loads of attendance prizes, 3v3 basketball tournament, football tournament, dodgeball, volleyball and many more games along with a pizza dinner. Food and beverages will be available to purchase throughout the event. Grab your friends and join in the fun. Event is from 8pm-6am.

We will be celebrating and praying over our high school and college graduates before each service on 5/17. If you have a graduate who would like to participate, please submit their name by 5/10 to hello@crosswalkunion.org.

The CrossWalk has always been a church for broken people, a place where the brokenness can be covered over by the death and resurrection of Jesus. We want to celebrate those who have made the choice to surrender their lives to Jesus and be baptized and will be having a Baptism celebration after the 10:30 service on May 3. If you are ready to be baptized, please us the following link to register.

It’s time to get together and have some fun! We invite you and your family to the All-Church Picnic on June 7 from 12:30 – 3:00 at the Union City Park, large pavilion. We will provide the meat, drinks and fun if you will bring a side dish or dessert (or both). Bring your own chairs and plenty of sunscreen. Ever notice the big, gray pantry at the front of the building? No? Stop and check it out. Our church is a supporter of the Little Food Pantry initiative in our community. If you are able, help us keep the box filled with non-perishable food items and personal care products. If you are in need of a little help, please visit our Little Food Pantry and take what you need. Together we can take care of our community.

Want to get involved in serving at the church but you just don’t know how to start? Well, we can help you with that. We would love to talk to you about the varied and different opportunities to serve. Whether you are someone who wants to stay behind the scenes or you’re someone who doesn’t mind being front and center, we have a place for you to use your talents. Wednesday nights are reserved for our 6^th-12^th grade students! You read that right. Every Wednesday from 6-7:45, our Impact Student Ministry takes over the building; coming together for food, fun and worship. It’s a place where teens and pre-teens can build healthy friendships, learn how to make good life choices and discover who God created them to be.

Parents, be sure to check out the resources at CrossWalkunion.org/kids. The lesson video from the previous Sunday is always live on the website, giving you the chance to review with your child what they learned in their class. We have also included age-appropriate discussion starters, for that extra bit of help. Download the Parent Cue and help your child dig a little deeper.

If your child wants to dive deeper into their own faith, download the God Time page, a daily devotion from the lesson that they can complete at their own pace.

At the bottom of The CrossWalk website, click on the Giving tab. Follow the instructions on the page that comes up. Or mail your offering to The CrossWalk, 409 E State St, Union, MO 63084. You can also bring your offering with you to our worship experience on Sunday and drop it in the JOY box. Thank you, ahead of time, for your generosity.

Go to The CrossWalk website and scroll to the “Can We Pray For You” button. Fill in the blanks, click on the submit button and your prayer request(s) will go to our Prayer Team. All information shared is confidential.
