CROSSWALK NEWS

Current Series: Dazed or Dazzled

Are you dazed or dazzled at Christmas? The first word has a negative connotation and the second word is much more comfortable. Who doesn’t want to be dazzled once in a while? Christmas 2023 at The CrossWalk is going to be a time to look back at what we know and look ahead to what God still has planned! Christmas is part of God’s dazzling plan for all of us and that plan has not been completed yet. We still have a part to play!
Join us at 10am on Sunday morning.

ORNAMENT MAKE & TAKE

It’s time to make memories and keepsakes at the Ornament Make & Take event. This FREE event is scheduled for 12/3 from 2-4. We will have all the supplies you need to make simple or extravagant ornaments. There will be ornaments for every age level and skill level so the whole family can get in on the fun. There will also be hot cocoa and homemade cookies. What a wonderful way to start the most wonderful time of the year as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

BELL RINGING

The CrossWalk is ringing the bell for the Salvation Army on Saturday, December 9 from 8-7 at the Schnucks in Union. Wear silly hats, dress as Santa or the Grinch, sing Christmas Carols or just greet everyone with a smile. Whatever you do, it’s a great way for the whole family to participate. Sign-up at the church for your hour to make a joyful noise!

Christmas Eve Service

Is Christmas about us finding God, or is it about God finding us? Christmas was meant to be a homecoming. It’s a whisper of God in our hearts. It’s something intensely personal for all of us. We invite you to join us at 6:00pm on Christmas Eve for a service of music, message and more. Bring the whole family!

THE CHURCH HAS LEFT THE BUILDING! (FOR REAL!!)

What if we took everything we’re learning about love and generosity and helping others and put it into practice this season? On Sunday, December 31, we will not be meeting for our regular worship service. Instead, we will be using that day to kick off our “Church has Left the Building” service week. Make opportunities throughout the week to help others in big and small ways. We will come back to worship on Sunday, January 7 at 10am.

Soup ‘n Sammich Game Night

Join us on December 31 from 6-10 for family game night. Bring snacks to share and your favorite game and we’ll provide the soup and sandwiches. You’ll be home in plenty of time to welcome in the new year.

Youth Night

The Impact Student Ministry is a place where you can discover your purpose, build healthy friendships, and learn how to make good life choices. If you are in the 6th thru 12th grade, you and your friends are invited to join us on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30 PM. Oh, and did we mention all of the fun you will have?
